GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The least appealing of the four properties of this hotel channel in Camagüey, this inn, a large yellow painted building, has been around since 1943 with recent upgrades having been implemented. The place is for budget travelers only. Rooms are rather small, dimly lit, and a little dumpy in this five-story hotel, though a couple of "matrimonial" rooms with queen-size beds are quite large, with frilly decoration and very high ceilings. On the bright side, the place is cheap and centrally located and is best considered as an overnight stopover location than a hotel for you whole vacation.
