Strolling along the promenade, you will pass the Waterfront Commercial Shopping Centre (operational approximately June 2014), which will house shops, bars, restaurants, a disco, game room, jazz bar. Furthermore there is a dive center, catamaran terminal and marina services (dockage and mooring).

Varadero is located on the Hicacos Peninsula, about 140 kilometers east of Havana. Varadero has approximately 20 kilometers of beach, adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico in the east, the Bay of Cardenas in the west. Meliá Marina Varadero is located on the north-eastern part of the peninsula bordering Marina Gaviota, 40 km from Varadero’s international airport.
