GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Space

Cubao Campiña offers our visitors a unique and breathtaking view of Viñales Valley, from this place you will be able to appreciate the Cuban green tones like in no other part of Cuba.

Nature and silence become accomplices to make visitors feel owners of a majestic natural beauty.

This room includes breakfast for 2 people; lunch and dinner can be prepared for an additional price of 10 USD.

Guest Access

You have access to the bedroom, the private bathroom and private terrace.
This room, with capacity for up to 4 people, has a private dipping pool, where you can bathe and have a drink watching the valley. It also has its own terrace with a great view, as shown in the pictures.

Shared areas are: kitchen, living room, porch, exterior terrace and dining room. Drinks and cocktails on request, at extra cost.

To access the Internet, only at the hotels for 4.50 euros per hour, or 2.25 euros a half hour, with Wi-Fi if you want to connect from your devices or the computers available. Hotel Los Jazmines is within walking distance from Cubao.

The Neighborhood

From the Indian Cave with its underground river to the Mural de la Prehistoria, through the Rancho San Vicente, the courtyard of the motel La Ermita and the fabulous Mirador Los Jazmines (very close to Cubao CAMPIÑA), travelers will find the exuberance and authenticity of the Cuban countryside and its people.

Getting Around

Is the area is well served by public transportation?
Not really, it's a rural tourism area. It is recommended to hire a car, motorcycle or bike. If you are taking a bus from La Habana you should tell the driver to leave you at the Viñales Visitors Centre (Centro de Visitantes), a few meters away from Cubao.
Is it possible to park on the property or nearby?
Yes, you can park inside the property and its surroundings.
How can the guest get from the airport?
There are buses and taxis (individual more expensive, colectivos more economical) used by the hikers and tourists, by reservation from outside Cuba or from the airport or hotel in La Habana. Or a car rental from La Habana.

Other Things to Note

The Valley is formed mostly by large plantations of tobacco and the typical farmers houses (guajiros), the valley is known worldwide for its "Mogotes", a unique mountain ridges on the island, which impress with their very unique formation. They are only comparable to other such localized in China and Malaysia. Some mogotes measuring hundreds of meters high, so you can go climbing.

The Internet access is limited to hotels in the surroundings, for a fare of $4.5 hours.

Apart from breakfast (included on some rates) mojitos can be prepared as well as other drinks and meals, on request, although in Cubao there is no proper restaurant. Meals and drinks are extra. Possibility to arrange horseback riding.
